Champ2
Champ2, initially known as Lights after the former Indy Lights series that was part of the CART/Champ Car ladder system, was run three times in 2006. In 2006-01, the series was inaugurated with a detuned Formula IS car, and was won by Italian David Greco. The series also ran with the GP2 mod, tinkered with the ASRWC cars and a limited release A1GP mod before being retired at the conclusion of the 2006-03 season. Other Champions in the series were Chris Rainer (2006-02) and Scott Arrington (2006-03).
The series is back for 2008-02 with a Formula Nippon mod that right now we feel is well representative of the Indy Lights cars that first inspired SimCar, and now has returned in North American open-wheel racing.
